I am afraid my purse/wallet has been stolen or I lost my debit card. What do I do now?
I am going out of town/country, can I use my debit card?
Please contact our bookkeeping department when you will be using your debit card outside the USA. You can use your debit card throughout the US. However, there are six states that you can use your debit card only on PIN based transactions. Those states are Washington, California, Texas, Michigan, Florida and New Jersey. When using your card at an ATM, look for the Instant Cash sign and you will not be charged from us.
If using your debit card out of the country, you can use your debit card on only PIN based transaction. We recommend using your debit card for ATM transactions only when you are out of the USA. To find ATMs that are surcharge free: www.instant-cash.com.
I am having trouble with my debit card. I put in my PIN wrong numerous times and now it won't work.
Once you have tried your PIN incorrectly three times, it automatically locks your card. You would need to contact our bookkeeping department (218-444-1575) to have your PIN unlocked or reset.

Is Mobile Banking Safe?
Here is some advice on how to safely use mobile banking so you can be protected while managing your finances.
- Invest in an antivirus application for your mobile device to help protect you when downloading apps or mobile content.
- Never provide personal identification or banking information over your mobile device unless you initiate the contact and you know that you’re dealing directly with your bank.
- Never share your password, account number, PIN and answers to secret questions. Don't save this information anywhere on your phone.
- Never set the app, web or client-text service to automatically log you in to your bank account. If your phone is lost or stolen, someone will have free access to your money.
- Set the phone to require a password to power on the handset or awake it from sleep mode.
- Remember, your bank would never contact or text message you asking for personal or banking information. Assume any unsolicited text request is fraudulent. Giving this information places your finances and privacy at risk.
- Immediately tell your mobile operator and your bank if you lose your phone.
For more information, contact your personal banker.
